‘Is Hania Aamir drunk?’ Pakistani actor’s viral video leaves internet talking

A video of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir getting her hair styled for Halloween has gone viral, with viewers divided over her unusual speech and behaviour.

In the clip, Hania is seen sitting at a salon while a stylist works on her hair. She asks the team to conceal her natural hair and fit a wig, while chatting and joking with those around her. The actor appears cheerful and animated, but some viewers felt that her speech sounded slurred and that she appeared unusually drowsy.

That quickly led to speculation on social media that Hania may have been drunk or under the influence of something. One user wrote, “THE INDUSTRY HAS BEEN COLLAPSED...!!! HANIA AMIR addicted into bad work; > Dr*gs > Injections > Alcohol.”

Another commented, “This Hania, who's at some parlor and so drunk that she can't even speak properly. She's talking about getting feelings from the person styling her hair. Has booze worldwide ensnared women in its grip too?”

The reactions, however, were far from one-sided. Some viewers questioned the assumptions being made about the actor based solely on the clip.

“It kind of looks like she's woken up and getting ready for either a shoot or for her day. It doesn't sound like drugs or alcohol or all the other things that you're claiming,” one person wrote.

Another said, “Everyone is looking for a scandal where there is just a girl getting a blowout.”

Some users still felt that Hania appeared intoxicated, with one comment reading, “She's wasted af talking nonsense fr.”

Another viewer wrote, “We want to see Hania being this lively and playful, not looking like she's drunk or under the influence of something.”

A separate comment pointed to the risks of being filmed in an unguarded moment, saying, “Public figures really need to remember cameras are everywhere. This looks messy a*.”

The video was reportedly shot while Hania was preparing for Halloween, although there is no information about when or where it was filmed. There is also no official confirmation that she had consumed alcohol or was under the influence of any substance.

Neither Hania Aamir nor her team has issued a statement about the viral video so far.
