Hanan Shaah’s ‘Vayojana Zombie’ from ‘Prakambanam’ is proving a real chartbuster

The new song from the horror-comedy film Prakambanam, starring Ganapathi and Sagar Surya in the lead roles, has been released. Titled Vayojana Zombie and sung by Hanan Shaah, the track features lyrics by Suhail Koya and music composed by Bibin Ashok. The song, which reflects the film’s zombie-themed storyline in a unique style, has already garnered attention on social media.

Targeted at a younger audience, Prakambanam is billed as a complete entertainer and is scheduled to hit theatres on January 30. The teaser, released earlier, had already sparked considerable curiosity among viewers.

According to the production team, the film is an experimental project that skilfully blends humour and horror. The story is primarily set in a men’s hostel in Kochi and Kannur, depicting amusing moments of hostel life intertwined with horror elements, forming the core narrative of the film.

Directed by Vijesh Panathur, Prakambanam is based on his original story, with Sreehari Vadakkan also contributing as a writer. The film is produced by Sreejith KS, Kaarthikeyan S, and Sudhish N under the banners of Navarasa Films and Stone Bench Studio.

The ensemble cast features Mallika Sukumaran, Azees Nedumangad, PP Kunhikrishnan, Aneesh Gopal, and Sanesh Guinness. Sankar Sharma handles the background score. The technical team includes Alby Antony as director of photography, Sooraj ES as editor, and Subaash Karun as art director.
