Actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi scripted a historic win in the Thrissur constituency in recently concluded LS polls. While praises are being showered on Suresh Gopi, on the other side, actor Nimisha Sajayan is facing the wrath of netizens, who are now trolling her for the political comments she made against the veteran actor years ago. .

Following the declaration of results in Thrissur, loyalists of Suresh Gopi flocked in numbers to the social media handles of Nimisha Sajayan verbally abusing and mocking her for her stance against the much-celebrated Mollywood superstar. Nimisha, reportedly, has muted the comment sections of her social media handles following the relentless cyberattacks targeting her in the past few days. 

Now, actor Gokul Suresh, son of Suresh Gopi, has reacted to the situation.

“See, all the media have tried to bring down my father on numerous occasions. Now he has proven all of you wrong. I am quite happy about it. I have always been proud of my father and nothing is going to change for me. When it comes to Nimisha, it is unfortunate that she has to go through all these. I don’t support what people are doing at the moment. But at the same time, I also feel that she should have restrained from passing such comments against my father back then, who is actually her colleague and an industry senior. People who criticised my father are now hooting for him. Things change here so quickly,” Gokul Suresh said.
