‘First birthday without my father’; Kavya Madhavan shares childhood photos and an emotional note

Actress Kavya Madhavan marked her 41st birthday with an emotional note, her first since the death of her father P Madhavan. Reflecting on the deep void left by his absence, Kavya wrote that every birthday and every remembrance day had always been unforgettable because of her father’s presence.

The actress shared several childhood photos, including pictures of her birthdays celebrated with her parents and family. Among them were moments of young Kavya cutting her birthday cake, standing alongside her father and brother Mithun.

“This is my first birthday without my father. Every birthday and every remembrance day was special because of his presence. Today, I find comfort only in the cherished memories and unconditional love he left behind,” Kavya captioned her post.

Kavya’s father, P Madhavan, a native of Nileswaram in Kasaragod, passed away on June 17 this year in Chennai.
