Film director arrested for sexually abusing girl after promising film roles

Koyilandy: A young film director was arrested by the police for sexually abusing a girl after promising her roles in movies. The accused has been identified as Jasik Ali (36), a native of Kuruvangad, Kozhikode. 

According to the complaint, Jasik kidnapped the girl, took her to several places and sexually abused her, after promising to offer film roles.  

Jasik, who is the director of ‘Binary’, was nabbed by the police from a house in Nadakkavu, where he had been hiding for the past few days.
