Family vlog goes viral as Krishnakumar responds to grandfather claims

Actor Krishnakumar has responded to the social media hype that his daughter Diya Krishna has given birth to a baby. Krishnakumar said that he is receiving phone calls from abroad congratulating him on becoming a grandfather. Krishnakumar's response was in a vlog shared on his YouTube channel the other day. Diya Krishna also clarified that she has not given birth yet.

"Sindhu, did you hear the news? So many people are calling and saying congratulations—‘You became a grandfather! Did Ozzy give birth?’" Krishnakumar told his wife Sindhu Krishnakumar in the vlog.

Diya Krishna also jokingly added that even her husband Ashwin's mother called her after seeing the publicity on social media.

"Ashwin's mother also called. She asked me why I didn't tell her. Ashwin said that she was driving the car sitting next to him and that she hadn't given birth yet. I will tell you when she gives birth." said Diya Krishna, sitting next to Krishnakumar.

Krishnakumar also shared that a friend from Kuwait called him saying, “Kichu, why didn’t you tell me? It’s all over social media.” He joked, “I looked at Ozzy and checked to see if she had a pregnant belly—or had already given birth!”

Sindhu's counter to this was that Ozy gave birth and sent the child to a school in Kochi. Hearing this, Krishnakumar burst out laughing. Diya also joined in the laughter. Then, placing his hand on Diya's shoulder, Krishnakumar asked, 'So you have already given birth in advance, haven't you?' In response, Diya informed the audience, "I am telling you for everyone's information, I have not given birth."
