Empuraan pirated version leaked online hours after release

There are reports that a pirated version of the highly anticipated Mohanlal film L2E: Empuraan is being circulated online. A national media has reported that the unauthorised copy of the movie has surfaced on various websites and Telegram channels. Websites such as Filmyzilla, Movierulz, and Tamilrockers, along with Telegram, are said to have made the pirated version available.

Director Prithviraj Sukumaran had recently talked about the piracy issue, urging fans to reject spoilers and piracy. He shared a social media post with the message, "Say No to Spoilers and Piracy."

Empuraan was officially released in theaters across Kerala at 6 AM on Thursday, screening on approximately 750 screens in the state. Empuraan is produced under the banners of Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies by Subaskaran, Antony Perumbavoor, and Gokulam Gopalan. Apart from Mohanlal and director Prithviraj, the film also stars Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Indrajith, among others.
