Elvish Yadav under death threat? Police register FIR after Rs 10 crore demand
Elvish Yadav, winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, has reportedly received a death threat along with an extortion demand of Rs 10 crore allegedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to reports, the YouTuber received a WhatsApp call on May 5 from an international number. Although Elvish was unable to answer the call, he later received a threatening message from the same foreign number.
As per reports, the sender identified himself as Randeep Malik, who was allegedly described as a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The message reportedly demanded Rs 10 crore from Elvish within two days. It also allegedly warned that both Elvish and his father would be shot if the money was not paid within the stipulated time.
Reports further stated that the same threatening message was also sent to his father’s mobile phone.
FIR registered after police complaint
In the complaint submitted to police, Elvish stated that he immediately informed officials at the Sector-56 Police Station after receiving the threats.
Following the complaint, police registered an FIR against an unidentified individual under relevant sections. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
In recent months, Elvish has been actively focusing on his podcast series, PHODCAST With Elvish – Season 2, where he interviews celebrities and personalities from the reality television industry.
The show has featured guests including Karan Kundrra and Arjun Bijlani. Discussions on the podcast largely revolve around fitness, fame, relationships, and behind-the-scenes experiences from the entertainment world.
Alongside his podcast ventures, Elvish has continued working on music-related projects as well.
His YouTube channel recently promoted the music video Justin Bieber featuring Isha Malviya, in addition to the trailer of his upcoming project, Aukaat Ke Bahar.
Apart from digital content creation, Elvish has also remained active in reality television. He was seen on Laughter Chefs alongside Karan Kundrra and has also been associated with the gaming reality show Playground, where he appeared as a mentor figure.
