Dulquer Salmaan turns violent gangster in ‘King of Kotha’; trailer out

The much-awaited trailer of ‘King of Kotha’, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles, was released on Thursday by actors Shah Rukh Khan, Mohanlal, Suriya and Nagarjuna on their social media handles.

The striking trailer gives a peek into the movie, helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, and appears to tell the story of Raju, a gangster who aspires to dominate the land of Kotha.

Taking to Twitter, SRK shared the trailer and wrote, “Congratulations on the impressive #KOKTrailer, @dulQuer ! Looking forward to the movie. Big hug to you and wishing the entire team a big success!”

The release, which was earlier scheduled on August 9, was postponed to Thursday following the sudden demise of filmmaker Siddique, who breathed his last on Tuesday in Kochi. 

The pan India film will hit the theatres this Onam on August 24, and release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Meanwhile, Dulquer will also be making his digital debut with the upcoming series ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ which also stars Rajkumar Rao and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles.
