‘Dridam’ title video out: Shane Nigam back in police role | WATCH

The title video of ‘Dridam’, starring Shane Nigam, has been released, signalling the actor’s return to a police role – a character type that has earned him praise in recent years. The new clip has sparked strong online chatter, with fans noting that Nigam appears once again as an intense and determined police officer, similar to his performances in ‘Corona Papers’ and ‘Vela’.

In ‘Dridam’, Nigam plays SI Vijay Radhakrishnan, a character that early visuals suggest is central to a crime-investigation narrative. The video was launched with the hashtag #ACopWithEverythingToProve, and has been gaining traction across social media platforms, prompting considerable excitement among viewers awaiting the film’s release.

The ensemble cast includes Shobi Thilakan, Kottayam Ramesh, Dinesh Prabhakar, Nandan Unni, Vinod Bose, Krishna Prabha, Saniya Fathima, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Prashanth Murali, Mathew Varghese, Joji K. John, Bitto Davis and Abhishek Ravindran. 

‘Dridam’ is presented by E4 Experiments and Jeethu Joseph (Bed Time Stories) and is produced by Mukesh R Mehta and CV Sarathi. The script, including story and dialogues, is by Jomon John and Linto Devassy. The film marks the directorial debut of Martin Joseph, with cinematography handled by PM Unnikrishnan.
