Double Mohan and his gang look fierce, armed and ready to rage – new poster of ‘Vilaayath Budha’ out
Standing tall upon stacked sandalwood logs, Double Mohan, the sandalwood smuggler and his gang of five, armed with axes, sickles, and ropes, set the tone for what's to come. The newly released poster of "Vilaayath Budha" has sparked curiosity and excitement across social media. Produced by Sandeep Senan under the banner of Urvassi Theatres and directed by Jayan Nambiar, the film is gearing up for release soon.
Based on G. R. Indugopan's acclaimed novel of the same name, "Vilaayath Budha" is directed by Jayan Nambiar and features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role as Double Mohan, a character unlike any he has played before. Priyamvada Krishnan plays the female lead. The previously released posters, teaser, and the song 'Kaattu Raasa’ have already garnered wide attention and appreciation on social media.
Following hits like "Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum", "Sathyam Paranja Vishwasikkuvo", and "Saudi Vellakka", "Vilaayath Budha" marks another grand cinematic venture from Urvassi Theatres. The film is co-produced by A. V. Anoop for AVA Productions. The screenplay is jointly written by G. R. Indugopan and Rajesh Pinnadan.
A tale woven around revenge, love, and human conflict, "Vilaayath Budha" unfolds against the lush backdrop of the sandalwood forests of Marayoor. According to the team, the film promises a gripping cinematic experience filled with emotional intensity and psychological depth. The movie is currently in its post-production phase.
Alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, the cast includes Shammi Thilakan, Anu Mohan, Rajashri Nair, and T. J. Arunachalam, among others.
Jakes Bejoy is the music director. Arvind Kashyap, cinematographer of "777 Charlie" joins Renadive for the film's cinematography. Kashyap handled the camera for "Bell Bottom", one of the hit movies in Kannada.
