Did she quit acting after marriage? Did she move to the US? Lena responds

Actor Lena has responded to persistent questions from fans asking whether she had stopped acting and shifted permanently to the United States after her marriage. Clarifying the speculation, Lena said she has returned to India and is currently based in Kochi. She also announced her comeback through Valathuvashathe Kallan, directed by Jeethu Joseph.

“Recently, I realised there has been a lot of confusion among colleagues in the film industry and among fans about whether I had moved to the US or stepped away from acting. I am now back in India and living in Kochi. I have also returned to acting,” Lena wrote on social media.
 

“I am deeply grateful to Jeethu Joseph for directing my comeback film Valathuvashathe Kallan. The film will release on January 30. Thank you for all the love and support you’ve given me,” she added.

Lena married Air Force Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan, part of the Gaganyaan astronaut team, in January 2024. She made the wedding public only months later. Lena had been in the United States with Prasanth for nearly 10 months.
