The promotional campaign for Aditya Dhar’s highly anticipated sequel, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge," will reach a fever pitch Saturday with the official release of the film's trailer.
Production houses Jio Studios and B62 Studios announced Friday that the first extended look at the action thriller is scheduled to debut online at 11:01 a.m. Lead actor Ranveer Singh confirmed the timing via social media, unveiling a new teaser poster alongside the announcement.
"Brace yourself Trailer out tomorrow 7th March at 11:01 AM #Dhurandhar The Revenge Releasing In Cinemas Worldwide on 19th March 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam," Singh wrote.
A Box Office Phenomenon
The update triggered an immediate wave of digital enthusiasm from the film's massive following. "Wohoo, can't wait," one supporter commented, while another predicted the sequel "is going to break all records."
The original "Dhurandhar," which premiered Dec. 5, 2025, ended the year as the highest-grossing cinematic release. It has since ascended to cult status, eclipsing "Pushpa 2: The Rule" to become the highest-grossing Hindi-language film in history.
Production and Ensemble
The sequel features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. The franchise’s first instalment was noted for a standout performance by Akshaye Khanna, who portrayed the antagonist Rehman Dakait.
Strategic Holiday Release
"Dhurandhar: The Revenge" is scheduled for a global theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The launch is timed to coincide with the major spring festivals of Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi. T-Series has joined the project as the official music label for the pan-India release, which will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
