 Mumbai: Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh marked Diwali with a special surprise for their fans, revealing the face of their daughter Dua for the very first time on social media.

Known for guarding their private life closely, the actors broke tradition by posting a heartwarming family portrait that quickly went viral. Deepika captioned the post with a simple festive greeting in Hindi: “Diwali ki hardik shubhkamnayein,” accompanied by smiling and evil eye emojis.

In the photos, the couple is seen celebrating Diwali in style, dressed in coordinated traditional outfits. Deepika wore an elegant red silk salwar kameez adorned with heavy gold jewellery and jasmine flowers in her hair, tied neatly in a bun. Ranveer complemented her look in an ivory sherwani paired with a layered pearl necklace and his signature sunglasses.

Their daughter, Dua, born in September 2024, looked adorable in a matching red ensemble. In one of the images, she is nestled in her parents' arms, her tiny ponytails adding to the charm. Another candid photo shows Deepika holding Dua close during a peaceful moment at the Diwali puja.

This public reveal marks the first time fans have seen the face of the couple's daughter. Since her birth, Deepika and Ranveer have been extremely protective of Dua’s privacy, choosing not to share her images online.

Just weeks ago, the couple made headlines when a fan-recorded video of Deepika and Dua at the airport went viral. In the clip, Deepika was seen politely yet firmly asking the fan not to film or photograph her daughter — a request that unfortunately went unheeded.
