'Bouma': Sagar Surya's stylish first look as Jacob unveiled ahead of release

Kochi: The makers of the upcoming multilingual film Bouma have unveiled a new character poster featuring actor Sagar Surya as Jacob, offering a glimpse of his stylish avatar ahead of the film's theatrical release on November 12.

The poster shows Sagar Surya raising a glass in a celebratory pose, introducing his character with a striking, mass-appeal look.

The film, starring Vineeth, Dileesh Pothan and Sagar Surya in prominent roles, is gearing up for a theatrical release across five languages — Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

Bhavana Release will handle the film's distribution in Kerala.

Rejin S Babu returns after 'Pendulum'

Bouma is written and directed by Rejin S Babu, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed film Pendulum.

The upcoming project marks his next directorial venture and brings together an extensive ensemble of established performers and emerging talents.

Bassam Kadhiyar is producing the film under the banner of Atus Films.

Apart from the lead actors, Bouma features Revathi Sharma, Aditi Balan, Madhupal, Lena, Moksha Sengupta, Merin Philip, Raghunath Paleri, Jaffar Idukki, Vijay Babu, Manikuttan, Sajin Cherukayil, Praveena, Nilja, Jane Andrews, Binoj Vilya, Kavya S Bhanu, Naslin Jameela, Naushad, Senthil and Bhagath Manuel.

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan, editor Sooraj E S and music director Christo Xavier.

Danish K A serves as executive producer, while Job George is the production controller. Appunni Sajan handles production design, with the story credited to Donny Kadammanitta.

Jayadevan Chakkadath is responsible for sound design, while M R Rajakrishnan handles the final sound mix. Liju Prabhakar is the colourist.

The other technicians include costume designer Gopika Unnikrishnan, makeup artist Rony Vellathooval, chief associate director Abru Simon, stunt choreographer Kalai Kingson and art director Sibin Varghese.

Jithin S Babu handles still photography, while Ma Mi Jo is responsible for publicity design. Digital marketing is managed by Obscura Entertainments, with Vazhoor Jose and Athira Diljith handling public relations.
