Billie Eilish's 'Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour' heads to OTT

Billie Eilish's ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live)’ finally has a streaming release date. The concert film will begin streaming on Paramount+ in the US on August 6 after its theatrical run.
The concert film, directed by James Cameron and Billie Eilish, brings the singer's ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour’ to the screen in an immersive 3D experience. Released in cinemas on May 8, the film has earned around USD 10 million at the North American box office and has grossed approximately USD 27 million worldwide.

The feature captures Eilish performing several fan-favourite tracks from across her career. The setlist includes chart-topping songs such as bad guy, What Was I Made For?, Happier Than Ever, Birds of a Feather, and when the party's over, giving viewers a front-row experience of the global tour.

The concert film is built around Eilish's third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which received widespread critical acclaim. The album enjoyed a strong awards run, earning seven nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Its success continued at the 68th Grammy Awards, where the single Wildflower picked up nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Produced by Paramount Pictures in collaboration with Lightstorm Earth, Darkroom and Interscope Films, the project brings together a large production team led by James Cameron and Billie Eilish, alongside several longtime collaborators.

‘Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live)’ also marks Billie Eilish's third concert film. It follows ‘Billie Eilish: Live at the O2’ (2023) and ‘Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles’ (2021), further expanding the singer's growing catalogue of concert documentaries.
