Big music shake-up in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘KING’! Anirudh Ravichander reportedly exits
Shah Rukh Khan and Anirudh Ravichander made quite an impression with their collaboration on ‘Jawan’. However, their next big-screen association in ‘King’ may not turn out quite as expected. In a reported development, Anirudh has exited the music team of Siddharth Anand’s much-anticipated action entertainer, with composer duo Sachin-Jigar stepping in to handle the remaining music.
According to reports, the decision was mutual and followed discussions between Anirudh, director Siddharth Anand and the production team. Scheduling commitments are believed to have played a major role, with the composer juggling multiple projects in the South Indian film industry.
However, Anirudh is reportedly not leaving the film without a musical contribution. He has already worked on a theme track for ‘King’, which is said to remain part of the project. Sachin-Jigar will reportedly take charge of the remaining songs and background score, while also reworking the theme for the film's final musical arrangement.
The reported change comes as ‘King’ moves closer to its theatrical release, adding another talking point to the growing anticipation around Shah Rukh Khan's next big-screen outing.

Anirudh’s reported exit is particularly noteworthy given the success of his previous collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. However, recent updates indicate that the makers could instead release the film's first song, reportedly featuring Arijit Singh.
