Basil Joseph, Meera Jasmine in Mohanlal’s Hridayapoorvam? Censor details spark excitement

Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad’s much-awaited film Hridayapoorvam is gearing up for a grand Onam release on August 28.

The film has now sparked a social media buzz after fans spotted details in its censor certificate revealing surprise cameo appearances. According to reports, actress Meera Jasmine and filmmaker-actor Basil Joseph will make special appearances in the movie. The film’s Wikipedia page also mentions a special appearance by Basil and Meera.

Meera has previously starred opposite Mohanlal in Sathyan Anthikad’s Rasathanthram and Innathe Chintha Vishayam, while this will mark Basil’s first collaboration with the veteran actor.

Earlier, Basil had expressed his wish to work with Mohanlal and revealed that he hopes to direct legendary actors like Mammootty and Mohanlal if given the opportunity.

The family entertainer also features Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap, and Sangeetha in lead roles, alongside Siddique, Lalu Alex, Nishan, Janardanan, and Baburaj in supporting roles.

The film reunites Anthikad and Mohanlal, one of Malayalam cinema’s most beloved actor-director duos, whose past collaborations have produced timeless hits.

The story is penned by Akhil Sathyan, with screenplay and dialogues by Sonu TP. Cinematography is by Anu Moothedath, and music is composed by Tamil composer Justin Prabhakaran.
