Nandamuri Balakrishna sparks controversy for pushing actress Anjali on stage | Video

Telugu actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as Balayya, has found himself at the centre of a controversy after the video of him pushing away actress Anjali on stage went viral on social media. The incident happened while the veteran actor was attending the pre-release event of Anjali’s upcoming movie ‘Gangs of Godavari’. 

In the video, Balakrishna can be seen pushing Anjali as he walks towards the centre of the stage. Anjali’s co-star, Neha, was visibly shocked by the actor’s gesture. Even though Anjali laughed it off on stage, netizens criticised Balayya. 

Netizens have taken to the internet to call out Balayya for his disrespectful behaviour towards women. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta reposted the video on X with the caption, ‘Who is this scumbag?’.
