Mammootty heartbroken over his dear friend K R Viswambharan's death

“We had set out on a journey together that lasted 48 years. I have lost him in that journey. Viswambharan was there with me during my ups and downs. He considered my success and failures as his own. Whenever I was at the lowest in my life, Viswambharan was there with a helping hand”- Mammootty spoke about his dear friend K R Viswambharan, who passed away a few days back. 

Producer Anto Joseph expressed through a Facebook post Mammootty's grief when he returned home after seeing K R Viswambharan for the last time. Anto, who is a close confidante of Mammooty was unaccustomed to his emotional side. 

“Mammookka sat in silence when he got home after seeing K R Viswambharan for the last time. His eyes teared up slowly and his voice faltered. Mammookka’s friendship was not with K R Viswambharan the IAS officer but with Viswambharan the friend with whom he had gone through everything”- read Anto Joseph’s post. 

Anto said that Mammootty was shaken by his friend’s death.
