Anna Rajan responds to body shaming, says she is suffering from autoimmune thyroid disease

Actor Anna Rajan has responded to negative comments to a dance video she posted on social media.

Taking to Instagram, she disclosed receiving criticism, particularly body shaming, for her recent dance video. She shared about her struggle with autoimmune thyroid disease and urged social media users to avoid making hurtful comments if they are not fond of her dance video.

"If you don't like the video or me, you can say it, but commenting like this and liking the comment is very hurtful. And I am fighting for autoimmune thyroid disease," she wrote in a story.

Due to her condition, she says that her body goes through times of physical issues, including swelling, joint pains, and weight cycling.

"...Still, I have been doing my best for 2 years. And I will not sit back at home doing nothing because I also belong to this world. If you don't like it, leave it, but don't comment like this," she wrote.

Meanwhile, she also thanked others who showed her love and supported her.

"To all the people who are concerned about my health, thank you so much for your caring and special comments. My dance steps are limited because of the tight-fitting dress and the super hot temperature. And also, I’m not a professional dancer but only a passionate dancer. But still, I tried my best, and I'm happy. I really want to dance without any limits next time. Please understand the situation, and please keep supporting me. I love you all…" she added.
