Anaswara Rajan is gearing up for a return to Tamil cinema, joining the cast of an upcoming film directed by debutant Madhan. The film, yet to be titled, is being produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth.

Abishan Jeevinth, the director of Tourist Family, will play the male lead in the project. Anaswara will be seen in the role of Monisha, marking her latest appearance in Kollywood after a brief hiatus.

The music for the film will be composed by Sean Roldan, adding to the anticipation surrounding the production. Anaswara previously appeared in Tamil films such as Raangi and Thugs, both of which received praise for her performances.

To mark a splendid beginning for Mollywood in 2025, Anaswara mesmerised everyone with her stellar performance in the film titled Rekhachithram, alongside Asif Ali. Meanwhile, Tourist Family, which was released with minimal hype, is regarded in many circles as the biggest hit in the Indian film industry so far this year.
