Mumbai: Actor Alia Bhatt has offered fans a rare glimpse inside the luxurious new family home she shares with husband Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Raha, and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor — revealing intimate moments, thoughtfully designed interiors and touching tributes to the Kapoor legacy.

On 5 December, Alia posted a November “photo dump” on Instagram, which included never-before-seen images from a family puja held inside their newly completed Pali Hill residence, the iconic Krishna Raj bungalow. The sprawling property — steeped in Kapoor family history — is estimated by real-estate experts to be worth between ₹250 crore and ₹400 crore.

The images showcased an expansive, light-filled home that blends traditional Indian warmth with contemporary elegance. In one photo, Alia is seen in a pale pink saree alongside Ranbir in a white embroidered kurta-pyjama, performing a puja in a serene space lit by natural light pouring through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The tiled flooring and airy layout added to the calm, devotional setting.

Other pictures highlighted the home’s refined aesthetic — classic off-white walls, subtle trims and a neutral palette running across the multi-storey bungalow. A large, urn-style planter spotted in a candid moment of Alia added a stately Indian touch, hinting at the family’s preference for understated luxury rooted in cultural heritage.

One of the most poignant features of the home is the prominent tribute to Ranbir’s late father, legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. A striking framed portrait of him, adorned with a fresh floral garland, appeared in one of the photos. Thoughtfully positioned lighting cast a warm glow on the picture, symbolically ensuring that Rishi Kapoor remains a central presence in the new household.
