Akshay Kumar visits Guruvayur Temple in traditional Kerala attire | WATCH

Thrissur: Akshay Kumar, who is currently filming Haiwaan in Kochi alongside Saif Ali Khan and Saiyami Kher, took time off from his schedule to visit the famous Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple. The upcoming film marks Akshay’s reunion with Saif after their 2008 film Tashan. A video of his temple visit has since gone viral on social media.
The actor landed at the helipad of Sree Krishna College in a helicopter. He was also seen interacting with locals on the college grounds, posing for pictures with people exercising there.
Upon arriving in Guruvayur, Akshay donned a mundu and kurta. He later changed into ceremonial clothing for the temple visit. He was formally welcomed by Guruvayur Devaswom Board Member K.S. Balagopal and Devaswom Administrator O.B. Arun Kumar.
In the widely shared clip, Akshay can be seen wearing a white mundu and angavastram, flanked by his security detail, team members and cameramen.
About Haiwaan
Filming for Haiwaan began in Kochi on August 23. Akshay had shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram featuring Saif and director Priyadarshan. Captioning the post, he wrote, “Hum sab hi hain thode se shaitaan… Koi upar se Saint, koi andar se Haiwaan :)) Kicking off the shoot for #Haiwaan today with my favourite captain, @priyadarshan.official Sir. Excited to collaborate with Saif after nearly 18 years. Let’s unleash the wildness!!”
Apart from Akshay, Saif and Saiyami, the film also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar. Haiwaan is being produced by KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films, and jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn.
