Ahaan Panday and Sharvari’s romantic action-drama titled ‘Beparwah’, set for March 2027 release

Ahaan Panday and Sharvari are set to share screen space for the first time in ‘Beparwah’, the upcoming romantic action-drama directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films. The production house announced the title on Monday, confirming that the film will arrive in theatres worldwide on March 26, 2027, coinciding with Good Friday.

The project, which had previously been referred to as Zafar’s untitled next, was announced with its release date in July while filming was underway in the United Kingdom. Much of the film was shot there.

‘Beparwah’ brings together Panday, who rose to prominence with the 2025 romantic musical ‘Saiyaara’, and Sharvari, whose recent credits include ‘Munjya’ and ‘Alpha’. The film also features Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray, who will play the antagonist.

Ali Abbas Zafar reunites with Aditya Chopra

‘Beparwah’ marks another collaboration between filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar and producer Aditya Chopra. The duo has previously worked together on ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ (2011), ‘Gunday’ (2014), ‘Sultan’ (2016) and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017).

The latter two films, both starring Salman Khan, emerged as major box-office successes. Zafar has also directed Khan in ‘Bharat’ (2019), helmed the political series ‘Tandav’ (2021) for Prime Video and directed the action film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ (2024), starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Zafar and Chopra have co-written the script for ‘Beparwah’.

Ahaan Panday and Sharvari bring contrasting career journeys

Panday made his acting debut with Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’, opposite Aneet Padda. The 2025 musical romance became one of the biggest Bollywood hits of the year, earning more than $65 million worldwide, according to the supplied report. The success established Panday as a breakout name in Hindi cinema.

Sharvari began her film career with Yash Raj Films’ ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ in 2021 before gaining wider recognition with the horror-comedy ‘Munjya’ in 2024. She also starred opposite Alia Bhatt in ‘Alpha’, the first female-led film in YRF’s spy universe, according to the supplied report.

Their first on-screen pairing in ‘Beparwah’ brings together two actors whose careers have gained momentum through different projects and genres.

Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray join the cast

The film also features Bobby Deol, who previously worked with Sharvari in ‘Alpha’, alongside Aaishvary Thackeray in the antagonist’s role.
