After ‘Sookshmadharshini’, the makers return with ‘Dhoomakethu’; first look out now

The makers of 'Dhoomakethu' have officially unveiled the film's first look, offering audiences a glimpse into the upcoming Malayalam entertainer ahead of its release.

The project marks the next collaboration from Happy Hours Entertainments and A & HS Production House, following the success of ‘Sookshmadharshini’.

Directed by Sudhi Maddison, ‘Dhoomakethu’ brings together an ensemble cast led by Sajin Gopu, Nikhila Vimal, Shine Tom Chacko and Ganapathi.

The film's title poster, released earlier, had already sparked interest among moviegoers, and the newly launched first look has further added to the anticipation.

Ensemble cast and crew

Apart from the lead quartet, the film also stars Manju Pillai, Niyas Backer and Sidharth Bharathan in key roles.

‘Dhoomakethu’ is jointly produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, Sajin Ali and Abbas Thirunavaya. The screenplay has been written by Sonny and Manu.

Technical team behind the film

The film features cinematography by Jinto George, while Vivek Harshan handles the editing. Ankit Menon has composed the music, with Ouseph John serving as production designer.

The sound design is by Ranganath Ravee, costumes are designed by Mashar Hamsa, and makeup is by R G Wayanadan.

The action sequences are choreographed by Steven Kumar, with Binoy Nambala as casting director. Bobby Sathyaseelan is the chief associate director, while Antony Thomas serves as production controller and Shoukath Kallus as finance controller. The film's sound mixing has been handled by Vishnu Sujathan.

Visual effects have been created by Pictorial VFX and Prolab VFX, with DI work completed at Colour Planet Studios. YellowTooths designed the promotional material, while Serin Babu, Vishnu Thandassery and Rohit K. Suresh handled the still photography. Athira Diljith is the film's PRO.

The makers are expected to announce the release date of ‘Dhoomakethu’ soon.
