After ‘Kumbalangi Nights’, Madhu C Narayanan announces comeback film with Naslen

Kochi: Director Madhu C Narayanan is set to return with a new Malayalam film, marking his second directorial venture since the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Kumbalangi Nights (2019). The upcoming film will feature Naslen in the lead role.
The film will be jointly produced by Dr Ananthu and Silent Cat Films under the banner of Dr Ananthu Productions.
The collaboration between Madhu C Narayanan, whose debut film attained pan-Indian attention, and Naslen, one of Malayalam cinema's most promising young actors, has generated considerable anticipation among moviegoers.
The makers said filming will begin soon, while additional details, including the cast and crew, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The project comes after the success of Athiradi, produced by Dr Ananthu Productions in association with Basil Joseph. The production house is also preparing a slate of upcoming films. Among them are the first feature film from the Karikku team and 40 Days of House Party, directed by Shifina Babin Pakker.
Currently, Naslen is working on director Amal Neerad's Bachelor Party D’eux, billed as a sequel to the 2012 hit Bachelor Party. He is also set to make his Tamil cinema debut with director Jithu Madhavan's upcoming film starring Suriya, tentatively titled Suriya 47.
Naslen was most recently seen in Mollywood Times, director Abhinav Sunder Nayak's latest feature. Since its release in June, the film has received widespread critical appreciation, with legendary filmmaker Anurag Kashyap calling it a work filled with "truth and idealism”.
