He is lying: Actress refutes Jayasurya’s comments on harassment charges against him

Kochi: The actress who filed a sexual harassment complaint against actor Jayasurya has now responded to his social media post, where he denied the allegations and threatened legal action.
In an interview with NDTV, the actress insisted she would not retract her complaint despite Jayasuriya's claims. “He is calling the allegation false. It is not false. My statement is very true and very clear. This is the first FIR I have ever filed in my life,” she said.
She further criticized Jayasurya's denial, asserting that the allegations are genuine. When this issue became widely discussed on social media, there were claims that I made these accusations for money. If I were to drop the case now, it would not end well for me, she added.
The allegations involve two incidents, one in 2008 and another in 2013, where Jayasuriya is accused of sexually harassing actresses on movie sets. The actor has strongly denied these accusations.
In his Instagram post, Jayasurya stated that he was in the United States with his family when the accusations emerged. He expressed that the allegations have deeply affected him and his family, emphasizing that "false accusations are easy to make for anyone who lacks a conscience and are heartless. Facing a false accusation of harassment is just as painful as the harassment itself."
