Actor Vinayakan injured during shoot of Aadu 3; hospitalised in Kochi

Actor Vinayakan has been admitted to a hospital in Kochi after sustaining injuries during the shooting of Aadu 3. The actor was injured while filming at Thiruchendur and has been advised rest by doctors.
The injury occurred during the shooting of action sequences for the film. Vinayakan sought medical treatment in Kochi after experiencing physical discomfort. An MRI scan later revealed a serious muscle injury, following which doctors recommended complete rest. He continues to remain under medical supervision at the hospital.
Aadu 3 is the third instalment of the Aadu franchise, which began with the film Aadu, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and released in 2015. The makers have announced that Aadu 3 will be released as an Eid release on March 19 next year.
The film is being jointly produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banner of Kavya Film Company and Vijay Babu under Friday Film House.
Jayasurya reprises his popular character ‘Shaji Pappan’ in the film. Alongside Vinayakan, the film also features Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Sunny Wayne and Indrans in prominent roles. The cinematography is by Akhil George, music is composed by Shaan Rahman, and the film is edited by Lijo Paul.
