‘Defaming continuously on social media’: Bala files complaint against ex-wives Elizabeth and Amrutha

Kochi: Actor Bala has lodged a police complaint against his ex-wives Elizabeth and Amrutha Suresh, and YouTuber Aju Alex, alleging that they have been continuously defaming him on social media. The complaint was filed amid ongoing heated exchanges on various online platforms.

Bala, accompanied by his wife Kokila, personally visited the Kochi City Commissioner’s Office to submit the complaint. He alleged that he has been subjected to repeated humiliation on social media and accused YouTuber Aju Alex of collaborating in this smear campaign.

The complaint also mentions that Bala received an anonymous phone call demanding Rs 50 lakh for Aju Alex. He claims that after refusing to comply with this demand, the defamatory campaigns against him continued.

In recent days, Bala’s former partner Elizabeth had made serious allegations against him through social media. Bala, in turn, had responded with counter-accusations. His wife Kokila had also come forward in his support, criticising Elizabeth. Following this, Elizabeth issued a clarification on the matter. It was in this context that Bala proceeded to file the police complaint.
