'It’s like revisiting trauma for her! Abhirami Suresh on why her sister can't speak out

The ongoing allegations made by former actress Dr. Elizabeth Udayan against actor Bala have continued to make headlines, and now Abhirami Suresh, the sister of Bala's ex-wife Amrutha Suresh, has weighed in on the matter. Speaking during a Q&A session on her YouTube channel, Abhirami revealed that her sister has much to share about the disturbing incidents she experienced with the actor. However, due to ongoing legal issues, she stated that there are restrictions on what they can say at this time.
Abhirami explained, "In many situations, we had to stay quiet. We had bigger things at stake, including the future of the child. My sister was also considerate, maybe because it was her first marriage. I am keeping a keen tab on things. Truth will come out soon enough."
She added, "We went through huge toll for years. There are many things that we faced directly. But we currently do not have the legal freedom to talk about those things."
Addressing the support Elizabeth Udayan is receiving, Abhirami said, "We have not received the support that Elizabeth is getting. We had wished for it back then. I am happy that Elizabeth is getting the support that we wanted at one point in time. God is supporting her because there is some truth in her. As long as you are right on your side, you do not need to fear the law. If you seek legal help properly, the Kerala Police and other commissions will be with you. I want to tell Elizabeth to be safe. Always seek legal help no matter what problems you have in your personal life. We will need it when we reach a point."
Abhirami also spoke about how people in society often distort relationships and create misunderstandings. "There are many people in society who distort our relationship and create misunderstandings. Elizabeth and my sister had spoken before in the past. They have no contact now. Elizabeth is right to speak for herself. She is bold enough to handle this situation. She is very strong. This is how one should react in this situation. But Elizabeth does not seem to have faith in the law. But the law does have its perks," she said.
Discussing the difficulty of speaking out, Abhirami added, "If I say something, they'll start talking about it being for money. Elizabeth is handling the situation much better than us. We feel like they're on the right track. My sister's coming and talking is not going to do anything. It’s like revisiting trauma for her."
Abhirami also alluded to darker incidents from many years ago, particularly during her sister's honeymoon period, which she suggested were connected to what Elizabeth has been describing.
"There's a lot that happened many years ago. There are a lot of dark incidents with respect to their honeymoon. There have been similar incidents to what Elizabeth is saying now. If my sister keeps talking, it'll be easy to tweak the angle to 'the wives are working together'. That is unnecessary. Elizabeth is handling the situation well. I want the case to go well. If a day comes tomorrow, where the case is over, and there are things left to be addressed, I will surely talk then. Karmic cycle works interestingly, the truth will always come out," Abhirami clarified to her subscribers.
