‘5 songs and 3 action sequences; shooting in Kolkata’: Anoop Menon shares update on Mohanlal film

In exciting news for fans, actor Anoop Menon has clarified that his upcoming directorial project featuring Mohanlal in the lead has not been shelved.
In an interview with a YouTube channel, he said the project demands meticulous planning and will likely take shape only next year.
"It will happen only next year. The producers have changed. The main portion will be shot during the Durga Puja festival in Kolkata, which includes a 20-day schedule and an action sequence. The delay is because we need to shoot amidst the real festivities," said Anoop Menon.
Menon also revealed that the film will feature five songs and three action sequences.
“I really hope it happens. It’s a big project with a massive budget, packed with songs and fight scenes. The script work is underway, and Lalettan has also advised me to take my time and ensure everything is perfect,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal will be next seen in Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad from a screenplay by Sonu T. P., based on a story by Anthikad's son Akhil Sathyan. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas, the film also features Malavika Mohanan and Sangeeth Prathap in the lead roles.
