Who is the Grandmother in Adidas and gold jewellery in ‘40 Days of House Party’ poster?

Who says a grandmother has to look conventional? The second-look poster of ‘40 Days of House Party’ has arrived, and it has caught attention, a stylish grandmother sporting an Adidas jacket, traditional jewellery and a pair of sparkling eyes.
The upcoming Malayalam film, written and directed by Shifina Babin Pakkar, brings together Kunchacko Boban and a host of newcomers in what promises to be a distinct and unconventional story. Shifina, who previously worked as an assistant director on films such as ‘Romancham’ and ‘Aavesham’, is making her directorial debut with the project.

The newly released poster offers only a glimpse of the world of ‘40 Days of House Party’, but the grandmother at its centre immediately raises questions about her character and her place in the story.
Her contemporary styling, paired with traditional jewellery, adds to the playful mystery surrounding the film.
‘40 Days of House Party’ is a joint production venture between Ananthu Entertainments and Theatre of Dreams. The film is produced by Dr. Ananthu S. and Dolwin Kuriakose.
The film had earlier grabbed attention with its title poster. Its launch event was attended by Tamil superstar Suriya, along with several prominent actors, technicians and other members of the Malayalam film industry.
Principal photography began on April 6 in Kodungallur, with the makers bringing together a strong technical team behind the camera.

The crew includes Alby Antony as cinematographer, Vivek Harshan as editor and Bibin Ashok as music director. Vishnu Govind handles sound design, while Manav Suresh is the production designer. Costumes are by Mashar Hamsa, with makeup by Ronex Xavier.
The technical team also includes Kishore Purakkattiri as production controller, Mansoor Rasheed as chief associate director and Akhil Damodhar as art director.
Amal Xavier Manackatharayil and Ratheesh Mannarkkad serve as executive producers, while Vinayak Sasikumar has penned the lyrics.
Choreography is by Sherif Master, sync sound is handled by Vaisakh P. V., and stills are by Shain Saboora. Vaishakh C. Vadakkeveedu and Jinu Anilkumar handle PR and marketing.
With its unusual title, fresh cast and now an equally intriguing second-look poster, ‘40 Days of House Party’ is giving audiences plenty to wonder about, especially the identity and story behind its effortlessly stylish grandmother.
