He shared that he now lives in a rented house, something he had never done before in his lifetime.

During the event, Ravi Mohan explained how the theme of 3 BHK resonated with his personal life. He stated that he had always lived in his own house and had never stayed in a rented home until now. He also said that he can connect his life with this film’s story line. It’s an inspiring film, and the actor further added that he wishes to live his life happily from now on.

However, netizens flayed his statement. Many social media users have criticised and mocked the actor’s comments, questioning how a star who reportedly earns crores could not afford to own a house. One user remarked that don’t talk like someone who is struggling to pay rent, and also asked the actor, ‘Isn’t your rent around Rs 10 lakh a month anyway?’ Another quipped, that, If Bollywood were to make a film on this plot, they would probably name it 1.5 BHK.
