The makers of Dulquer Salmaan-starrer ‘I’m Game’ have unveiled the promo song video for ‘High Stakes’, offering audiences another glimpse into the scale and energy of the upcoming fantasy thriller. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 3.

A major attraction of the newly released video is the appearance of rapper Brodha V alongside Dulquer Salmaan. The high-energy track combines the two performers with a visually vibrant presentation designed to match the film’s larger-than-life world.

Jakes Bejoy, Brodha V collaborate on ‘High Stakes’

Jakes Bejoy has composed ‘High Stakes’ and also features as one of its vocalists, sharing vocal duties with Brodha V. The English portions of the song have been written by Brodha V and Clint Lewis, while Muthu has penned the Malayalam lyrics.

Built around an adrenaline-fuelled sound, the track is intended to amplify the excitement surrounding the film. Brodha V’s performance and Dulquer’s screen presence add further momentum to the promo, which has been crafted to reflect the atmosphere and visual scale of ‘I’m Game’.

The film’s music rights have reportedly been secured by Zee Music for Rs 12.5 crore.

‘Mazhavillaye’ and ‘Loser’ gain traction

‘High Stakes’ follows the release of two other songs from the film, ‘Mazhavillaye’ and ‘Loser’, both of which have garnered significant attention on social media.

The film also recently hosted its pre-release and music launch event at the Kinfra International Exhibition Centre in Kakkanad. Held two days ago, the event drew tens of thousands of viewers and turned into a major celebration ahead of the film’s theatrical debut.

Dulquer’s 40th film gets pan-India release

‘I’m Game’ marks Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th film and is set for a pan-India release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Antony Varghese, Tamil filmmaker and actor Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, Samyuktha Viswanathan and Vinay Forrt are part of the ensemble cast.

The film has been shot across more than 100 locations in South India, adding to the scale of the production.

Sajeer Baba, Ismail Aboobakar and Bilal Moidu have written the screenplay, with dialogues by Sajeer Baba, Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed. Jimshi Khalid is the cinematographer, while Chaman Chacko is responsible for editing.

Trailer promises a grand theatrical spectacle

The previously released trailer generated a strong response, showcasing elaborate visuals, action set pieces and chase sequences. The footage hinted at the expansive fantasy world and theatrical spectacle that the film aims to bring to audiences.
