Actress Bhagyashri Borse has described the opportunity to work alongside Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the upcoming film ‘Operation Ganga’ as a blessing.

Borse, who plays the female lead in the Vishnu Mohan directorial, shared a picture with Mohanlal on Instagram and expressed her admiration for her co-star.

"Dearest @mohanlal sir, To be your co-actor feels like a blessing. Every day of shoot, I get to see cinema through your eyes and learn from you.. you are truly gifted sir. #OperationGanga #AgentOnDuty."

The ‘Operation Ganga’ team is currently filming in Georgia, where the crew is shooting key sequences for the film, according to sources close to the production.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vishnu Mohan, the film was earlier referred to by its tentative title ‘L367’ before being officially named ‘Operation Ganga’. The title draws from India’s evacuation mission of the same name, which was launched to bring back Indian citizens, including thousands of students, stranded in Ukraine following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The film, carrying the tagline ‘A Nation’s Promise’, is set against the backdrop of the high-stakes evacuation operation and explores one of India’s major missions conducted across international borders.

Alongside Mohanlal and Borse, the cast includes Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, as well as Parthiban and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles.

Vishnu Mohan, who made his directorial debut with the devotional film ‘Meppadiyan’, is at the helm of the project.

The film has brought together an international technical team. Polish cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, known for his work on ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, is the director of photography, while Rajeevan serves as production designer. His credits include ‘GOAT’, ‘Meiyazhagan’, ‘Amaran’ and ‘Kathanar’.

Action sequences are being choreographed by Sea Young Oh, who has worked on films including ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Kill’. Shashwat Sachdev is composing the music following his work on ‘Dhurandhar’.

The technical crew also includes editor Shameer Mohammed and sound designer Bishwadeep Chatterjee, whose credits include ‘Dhurandhar’, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

K. V. Sanjit is overseeing the visual effects, while Melvy J, the costume designer of ‘Lokah’, is handling costumes. Ronex Xavier is responsible for makeup.

‘Operation Ganga’ is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the Sree Gokulam Movies banner. Baiju Gopalan and V. C. Praveen are the co-producers, while Krishnamoorthy serves as executive producer.
