Mathrubhumi wins 3 Silver ABBYs, emerges as Kerala’s sole media company to win recognition this year

Kochi: Mathrubhumi Group received three Silver ABBY Awards at Goa Fest 2026, becoming the only media company from Kerala to secure recognition at this year’s event.

The awards were won for campaigns entered by Maitri Advertising Works.

Kappa CULTR campaign secures two awards

The group's flagship intellectual property, Kappa CULTR 2026, led the recognition through its campaign Kappa CULTR Shock, which secured two Silver ABBYs.

The campaign won in the categories Best Integrated Design Campaign and Craft in Design – Use of Mixed Media.

Mathrubhumi's anti-drug awareness initiative Got Stuff also received a Silver ABBY in the Health category.

The awards marked Mathrubhumi as the only media organisation from Kerala to receive recognition at this year's ABBY Awards.

Goa Fest drew around 4,000 entries

According to the organisers, the ABBY Awards at Goa Fest 2026 featured participation from around 300 organisations and received about 4,000 entries across media and publishing categories.
