Excited to act with Mammookka: Nikhila Vimal

Mollywood actress Nikhila Vimal who made acting debut with Jayaram-starrer Bhagyadevatha won the hearts of the audience with the role of Varada in ‘Aravindante Athidhikal’. She will be next seen in Mammootty and Manju Warrier starrer 'The Priest'.
In an interview with Mathrubhumi, she opened up about her upcoming movie with the megastar.
“I am really excited to act with Mammookka. The shooting of the movie has already begun. I think I am blessed to have an opportunity to play an important role in Mammootty starrer movie. Though I am excited, I am a bit nervous too,” said Nikhila.
Mammotty starrer ‘The Priest’ is Nikhila’s new movie after her successful Tamil debut with ‘Thambi’ directed by Jeethu Joseph.
“Kabani (in movie Love 24X7) and Varada are my two favourite characters. I think people appreciated both a lot. I wanted to play such characters in my career. I am waiting to play roles which need more performance,” said Nikhila about her expectations as an actress.
She noted that she is not expecting particular roles, but she just wants to do roles which are memorable.
Preparations for movie
“Frankly speaking, I never made any preparations ahead of any movie. Compared to other roles, my role as Varada in ‘Aravindante Athidhikal’ is more related to my personal life. My mother is a dance teacher. So I had a clear idea on the life of a dancer. Kabani in ‘Love 24X7’ is another character which impressed me when I heard the story for the first time,” said the actress.
