Hollywood actor Stanley Tucci has praised Priyanka Chopra, recalling his experience of working with the Indian star in the Prime Video spy thriller series ‘Citadel’. In a recent interaction with ANI, Tucci spoke warmly about his co-star ahead of the release of his upcoming film ‘Masterplan’.

Asked about sharing screen space with Chopra in ‘Citadel’, Tucci expressed his admiration for the actor, who has established a career in both Bollywood and Hollywood.

"I loved it (experience working with Priyanka Chopra). She is amazing. I really love working with her," Tucci said with a big smile on his face.

Chopra has built an international career through projects across film and television, earning a global following since her transition from Indian cinema to Hollywood. Her work in international productions has also brought her recognition among colleagues in the industry.

In ‘Citadel’, Tucci portrays Bernard Orlick, a technology expert and experienced spy who plays a key role in the secret intelligence organisation. Chopra stars as Nadia, with the characters navigating a world of espionage, betrayal and international conspiracies. Richard Madden also features in the series.

The first season of ‘Citadel’ premiered on Prime Video in 2023. The spy thriller returned for its second season in May 2026, continuing the story of the intelligence agency and its operatives.

Tucci is now preparing for the release of ‘Masterplan’, bringing him back to Prime Video in a different role. Directed by Thomas Vincent, the heist film features the actor as a retired thief who recruits two young strangers to help him steal the famous Mona Lisa painting. Simona Tabasco and Victor Belmondo also star in the film, which is scheduled to premiere on October 16.

During the interaction, Tucci was also asked whether he had ever developed a personal master plan to establish himself in Hollywood, given the title of his upcoming film. Reflecting on his career, the actor acknowledged that while some of his ambitions had materialised, others had remained unrealised.

"Well, you have an idea of what you might do. And some of those ideas have, you know, come to fruition. Some of them I've achieved and others I haven't and probably never will. But there are reasons for that. And, you know, as I say, everything happens for a reason. Sometimes things don't happen for a reason," he emphasised.

With ‘Masterplan’, Tucci returns to the heist genre, taking on a character whose elaborate scheme revolves around one of the world's most recognisable paintings. The film marks his latest collaboration with Prime Video following his appearance in ‘Citadel’.
