Celina Jaitly’s 'broken heart' birthday wish for son Arthur has a painful reminder of twin Shamsher

'How I wish I could hold you, kiss you & make your favourite pani puri today.'
For actor Celina Jaitly, her son Arthur Haag’s ninth birthday came with both love and heartbreak as she marked the occasion from afar amid an intense divorce battle.
Arthur, who turned nine, is the twin brother of Shamsher, who died shortly after birth in 2017 due to a heart condition.
In her emotional birthday note, Jaitly also reminded Arthur to visit Shamsher’s grave on his birthday.
Calling Arthur her 'darling', Jaitly wrote that she was wishing him with 'a broken heart', while stressing that he remains loved 'more than words can ever say.'
'Last year, I did not imagine I would be wishing you on your 9th birthday from afar,' she wrote, reflecting on how different she had imagined the occasion would be.
Jaitly shared pictures from the time her sons were born, describing them as a celebration of the love with which they entered her life.
She recalled that since the birth of Arthur and his brothers, her greatest joy had been dedicating herself to her three sons 'day & night'.
The actor also spoke about her continued attempts to remain connected with her children. According to her post, Jaitly has been writing to her estranged husband, Peter Haag, in an effort to connect with her sons, but said she has not received a response yet.
Her birthday message for Arthur thus became more than a celebration of turning nine.
It was also a deeply personal reflection on motherhood, separation and the absence of her late son Shamsher, whose memory remains intertwined with the lives of his family.
