Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal share first picture of son Vihaan on Diwali; Internet falls in love

Actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have given fans a special Diwali surprise by sharing the first clear glimpse of their son, Vihaan.

The couple introduced their little one to the world through a joint Instagram post on Sunday.

The photograph captures Vihaan with his arms stretched out, looking cheerful as Vicky and Katrina hold him from behind. Keeping the festive message simple and heartfelt, the couple captioned the post, “Our brightest Diwali yet. Wishing everyone love, light and happiness. Vicky, Katrina & Vihaan”.

Both actors have largely kept their son away from the public eye since his birth, making the Diwali post a particularly significant share.

Vicky and Katrina welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Vihaan Kaushal, in November 2025. They announced the arrival of their son in January 2026, sharing the happy news with their followers on social media. The couple also revealed his name and offered a glimpse of their newborn at the time.

Katrina had kept her pregnancy largely private, choosing to stay away from frequent public appearances during that period. Since welcoming Vihaan, the actors have continued to maintain a relatively low profile when it comes to their family life, balancing their professional commitments with their new responsibilities as parents.

Vicky and Katrina got married on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. The wedding was an intimate affair attended by close friends and family members, with the couple taking extensive measures to keep the celebrations private.

The festivities unfolded over three days and included traditional ceremonies such as mehendi, haldi and sangeet. Following the wedding, the actors shared photographs from the celebrations on social media. The pictures quickly attracted widespread attention, making their wedding one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year.

On the professional front, Vicky is gearing up for ‘Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film also features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

The project brings Vicky together with Ranbir and Alia for the second time, following their earlier collaborations in ‘Sanju’ and ‘Raazi’. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres in January 2027.
