Salman Khan launches YouTube channel; gives fans a masterclass in his signature swag

What makes a Salman Khan performance instantly recognisable? The actor is offering fans a playful look at the mannerisms behind his screen persona through his new YouTube channel, Being The Salman Khan.

Instead of beginning with a conventional vlog, the channel features Salman playing two versions of himself, with one teaching the other how to master his signature body language, expressions and dialogue delivery.

The actor shared the channel link with his followers on Instagram Stories on Friday, October 9, inviting them to explore his latest digital venture. “Shuru se shuru karte hain… Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega,” he wrote, suggesting that the content could cover a range of subjects.

The opening videos revolve around Salman’s familiar screen presence. In the clips, one version of the actor takes on the role of a coach, while another plays a student trying to learn his distinctive style.

The format uses humour to explore the gestures, body movements and delivery that audiences have come to associate with Salman over his decades-long career. The channel has started with YouTube Shorts rather than lengthy videos, making the clips quick introductions to the concept.

Reports on the launch noted that the channel had already uploaded 10 short videos. However, Salman has not announced a fixed posting schedule or explained whether he plans to expand into longer videos, personal updates or behind-the-scenes content.

The channel’s description reads, “Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian. This is my official channel.”

Reports also states that the channel began uploading on September 22, before Salman promoted it to followers on October 9. The channel has already gained 58.9K subscribers.
