Ambikasuthan Mangad

Ambikasuthan Mangad is a Malayalam writer. He was born in Baragramam of Kasaragod in 1962. He is working as Malayalam lecturer in Kanhangad Nehru Arts and Government Science College.

He has written over 40 books including novels and short stories. He has bagged many awards including Ankanam award, Ithal Puraskaram, V. P. Sivakumar Keli Award and Edasseri Memorial Award.

His major works are Marakkappile Theyyangal, Enmakaje, Randu Malsyangal, Sadharana Veshangal, Rathri, Jeevithathinte Mudra and Othenante Vaal. He also won an award for the best story writer from Kerala State Government for the telefilm ‘Commercial Break’.
