Vinita George, Director of Global Sales and Operations Planning at L’Oréal, has been recognised with a prestigious award for her outstanding ability to simplify complex challenges in the global cosmetics industry.

Since joining L’Oréal in 2007 in Dubai, Vinita has played a pivotal role in developing the company’s presence across the Middle East, including the creation of a regional logistics hub and renegotiating key partnerships such as with Saudi Arabia. Born in Calcutta, India, she was the first woman to hold several of her leadership roles within the company.

Having gained extensive international experience, including time in Paris and Singapore, Vinita now manages L’Oréal’s global sales and operations from Paris, overseeing markets such as the United States and China. Her leadership has been instrumental in ensuring seamless product launches and delivery across diverse markets worldwide.

Vinita credits her success to a simple but effective philosophy: “Bringing simplicity to complexity.” She also stresses the importance of sustainability, particularly water conservation, as a vital ecological milestone.
