Gavi, a breathtaking gem of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala, captivates every traveller with its enchanting beauty. The KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell has played a pivotal role in popularizing this destination, Now KSRTC is launching budget tourism packages from various districts across Kerala not only to Gavi but also to other destinations in Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts.

Discover Gavi

Nestled at over 3,000 feet above sea level, Gavi is shrouded in mist and offers a cool retreat even during hot summers. The scenic views of the lush forests and the majestic hills are sure to enchant visitors. The journey begins at Kochandi, leading into a 60 km ride through the forest, where you may encounter elephants, wild buffaloes, deer, and even tigers.

Endangered species such as the Nilgiri Tahr and the Lion-tailed Macaque can frequently be spotted in Gavi. For bird watchers, Gavi is a paradise, boasting over 260 bird species, including the Great Pied Hornbill, woodpeckers, and kingfishers. 

Experience Adavi

Adavi, situated on the banks of the Kallar River in Konni, is a major eco-tourism destination. The Kuttavanchi ride (Coracle rides) through the dense forest provides a unique perspective of nature’s beauty, making it a must-visit spot.

Visit Parunthumpara

Known for its rocky terrain, Parunthumpara offers breathtaking views from 3,600 feet above sea level. A five-kilometre journey from Kallar Junction will lead you to this picturesque spot, where the refreshing breeze and fog create a magical atmosphere.
