Dubai: A video shared by an Indian woman walking alone at 2:37 am in Dubai has gone viral, once again highlighting the city's global reputation for being one of the safest places for women.

In the clip, content creator Trishaa Raj is seen strolling confidently on an empty road in the early hours of the morning. She praises Dubai for offering women a sense of freedom and safety that, she says, is hard to find elsewhere.

“Guys, it is currently 2.37 am, and I’m walking alone on the road. This is possible only in one place in the whole world, and that is Dubai. Habibi, come to Dubai,” she says in the video.

The video, posted on Instagram, has garnered nearly 9 lakh views, sparking a wave of reactions and discussions online. In her caption, Trishaa elaborated on her experience:

“Growing up as a girl in India, I always felt restricted, especially when it came to going out at night. We needed our brothers or guy friends just to feel safe. But in Dubai, things are so different.”

While many users praised her confidence and acknowledged Dubai’s safety, others offered differing perspectives.

“Why only Dubai? Please explore more cities to check and update,” one user commented.

Another wrote, “We all know Dubai is the safest city in the world!! But why are you roaming alone at 3 am?”

Suggesting safety in parts of India, a user added, “In South India as well.”

“Such a day may come in India too,” hoped another.
