While Vijay opted for a tailored brown suit, Trisha brought an understated glamour to the occasion in a powder-pink saree that combined delicate embroidery with plenty of sparkle.
Trisha Krishnan's powder-pink saree is all things glamorous
Trisha's ensemble was a powder-pink tulle saree featuring intricate hand embroidery with pearls, sequins and crystals. The sheer drape was adorned with delicate embellishments, while tassel detailing along the pallu added movement to the look.
The actor paired it with a matching heavily embroidered blouse featuring a plunging neckline and full sleeves. Feather detailing around the cuffs and tassels along the waist added a playful touch to the otherwise elegant ensemble.
She kept the draping classic, with neat pleats at the front and the pallu arranged over one shoulder, allowing the intricate detailing to take centre stage.
Trisha accessorised the outfit with a statement embellished choker and matching earrings from GRT Jewellers. A ring completed her jewellery choices.
For makeup, the actor stayed within the pink colour palette. Rosy blush, pink eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick gave her a monochromatic beauty look, while a fine line of eyeliner and a small bindi added definition.
She left her hair open in soft waves, opting for a centre parting that complemented the romantic aesthetic of the ensemble.
The outfit was credited to Rouje, while celebrity stylist Ekalakhani and Harshene Ravichandar were behind the styling. Makeup and hair were by Priscilla, with Anita Kamaraj capturing the photographs.
Trisha Krishnan's saree appearances alongside Vijay
This is not the first time Trisha's fashion choices at public events attended by Vijay have attracted attention.
At Vijay's swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the actor opted for an ice-blue silk saree. She styled it with a flowing pallu, a statement necklace and matching earrings. A low bun adorned with white flowers completed her traditional look.
Trisha also attended Vijay's first Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremony as Chief Minister. For the occasion, she chose a mustard-yellow crepe silk saree paired with a contrasting green blouse.
She completed the look with a centre-parted fishtail braid, curled fringes and minimal makeup.
With another public appearance alongside Vijay, Trisha has once again found herself in the spotlight, this time with a powder-pink saree that makes a strong case for understated occasion dressing.
