Tamannaah Bhatia’s ivory Rohit Bal look gets a luxe twist with 322 natural diamonds

Tamannaah Bhatia is making a strong case for ivory as festive season’s understated alternative to the usual jewel tones. During the promotions of ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest’, the actor stepped out in an ivory anarkali from Rohit Bal’s eponymous label, finishing the look with a pair of statement chandelier earrings that feature 322 natural diamonds.

The ensemble is rooted in traditional Indian occasionwear but comes with enough structure and detailing to feel distinctly contemporary. Crafted in matka and Chanderi silk, the floor-length anarkali combines tonal embroidery, pearls and floral motifs across a fluid silhouette.

The jacket-style upper half gives the outfit a more tailored character. A mandarin collar, sharp shoulders, full sleeves and a neat button closure bring structure to the otherwise flowing ensemble. Beneath it, a fitted bustier is covered in dense resham embroidery, with floral patterns extending onto the sleeves.

At the waist, rows of pearl tassels break up the monochromatic palette while adding movement to the silhouette. The jacket then opens into a voluminous skirt, where subtle Chanderi stripes sit alongside a sheer overlay and larger embroidered floral motifs.

The result is an ivory-on-ivory look that relies on texture rather than colour for impact. The combination of silk, embroidery, pearls and sheer layers gives the outfit enough depth to stand apart from the brighter festive dressing that typically dominates the season.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s 322-diamond earrings steal the spotlight

While the anarkali brings the drama, Bhatia’s jewellery adds the sparkle. She opted for chandelier-style earrings from her own label, Tamannaah Fine Jewellery, crafted in 14-carat yellow gold.

The earrings feature 4.46 carats of natural diamonds and 19.17 carats of natural jade. Their diamond detailing includes 318 round natural diamonds and four natural baguette diamonds, taking the total count to 322 natural diamonds.

The green jade brings a flash of colour to the otherwise neutral look, creating a deliberate contrast with the ivory outfit.

According to Bhatia, the design draws inspiration from the symmetry and architecture of traditional Chinese moon gates. She wanted to reinterpret that structured reference into a piece that retained a fluid, wearable quality.

That idea also makes the earrings more versatile beyond the festive wardrobe. Their sculptural silhouette can work with Indian occasionwear as easily as it can with a more pared-back Western outfit.

The actor keeps the beauty look understated

With the outfit and earrings already doing most of the talking, Bhatia kept her beauty styling minimal. She opted for neutral-toned makeup, softly defined eyes and a glossy nude lip.

Her hair was pulled into a sleek, slicked-back bun, giving the elaborate outfit a clean finish and keeping the focus firmly on the jewellery and intricate craftsmanship of the anarkali.

The look ultimately offers a different route to festive dressing: instead of reaching for saturated colours, Bhatia uses an ivory palette, rich textures and statement jewellery to create an occasion-ready ensemble.
