‘I designed my forever’: Jennifer Winget reveals the secret behind her wedding ring
Jennifer Winget's dreamy London wedding has been making headlines ever since she tied the knot with longtime boyfriend and Singapore-based finance professional William Ishmael on July 16.
But weeks after the celebrations, it isn't just her wedding photos that have everyone talking, it's the personal story behind the ring she now wears every day.
Taking to Instagram, Jennifer revealed that her wedding ring is far more than a beautiful diamond. Calling it one of the most meaningful choices she made for her wedding, the actor shared that the diamond comes from jewellery brand Ekatra's patented 108 Facet Shristi Ratna collection, a brand she says she's personally involved in building.
"For one of the most meaningful days of my life, choosing Ekatra felt personal... because I don't just believe in what it stands for, I'm part of building it," Jennifer wrote.
She added that she has never been someone who wears a lot of jewellery and wanted every piece she wore on her wedding day to carry meaning.
According to Jennifer, she chose only three pieces, her earrings, wedding rings and mangalsutra. "Nothing more, nothing less. Just pieces that meant something to me," she said.
The actor also revealed that she didn't simply pick her ring from a collection. Instead, she worked closely on its design. "Being part of the Ekatra family meant I got to sit with the sketches, the stones and the smallest details, and design my own forever moment... not just choose it," she shared.
Jennifer explained that the centrepiece of the ring is Ekatra's patented 108 Facet Shristi Ratna, a diamond inspired by the sacred number 108, which symbolises intention, wholeness and new beginnings. She called it the perfect way to mark the beginning of her married life and said she would cherish those memories forever.
According to Ekatra's official website, the 108-facet diamond is designed to offer greater brilliance while drawing inspiration from the spiritual significance of the number 108. Across many traditions, 108 represents completeness and cosmic harmony.

The digits themselves are also symbolic, 1 stands for unity, 0 for infinite potential and 8 for continuity. Together they represent completion, while their sum, 9, is widely associated with the end of one life cycle and the beginning of another.
