Alia Bhatt marked Ganesh Chaturthi at home in a custom House of Masaba ensemble, choosing a tonal pink kurta set that brought together blush, rani and rose pink hues. The look featured the label’s signature motifs and intricate patchwork embroidery, creating a layered yet understated festive silhouette.

The kurta came in a graceful fit-and-flare shape with an asymmetric high-low hemline, giving the traditional silhouette a contemporary finish. Crafted in tissue, the outfit had a subtle sheen, while House of Masaba’s signature paan phool and pankh bagh motifs added intricate detailing to the otherwise monochromatic palette.

Bhatt paired the kurta with farsi pants in a deeper rani pink shade. The pants were finished with delicate embroidery along the hem, adding definition to the look without taking away from its tonal aesthetic.

A patchwork tissue dupatta completed the ensemble. It featured Masaba Gupta’s signature chand motif and crystal-beaded tassels at the corners. The overall silhouette took inspiration from the shape of a butterfly, complementing the soft and feminine character of the look.

Bhatt’s festive outfit also came with a sweet mother-daughter detail. Her daughter Raha was dressed in pink with gold accents, creating a coordinated look for the celebrations.

Gold detailing across Bhatt’s ensemble complemented her jewellery and footwear, while pink accents in her earrings brought continuity to the colour story. An emerald green ring offered a contrasting touch. Her kaan chain, meanwhile, echoed the outfit’s design language with Masaba’s signature chand motif and hints of pink.

For beauty, Bhatt stayed with her understated approach, opting for dewy skin and minimal makeup. Makeup artist Riviera Lynn created the fresh, no-makeup makeup look, while hairstylist Mike Desir styled her hair half-up and half-down, finishing it with an intricate moon-shaped hairpiece.

Bhatt’s recent festive wardrobe has also featured several looks from Masaba Gupta. For Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at the Ambani residence, she previously wore a mint green sari and corset ensemble from the designer, along with a yellow halterneck-inspired kurta.
